Topsy Turvy Motorcar Moko Model & Box For your consideration is this rare 1920`s Moko Germany Topsy Turvy Side Skid Motorcar in its original box. The car meaasures 10`` in length and is in working condition. The car has the Hans Eberl clown logo on the back but with Rico inside the circle. I believe Hans Eberl may have combined with William Rissman (RiCo) as they were both manufacturers in Nuremberg, Germany of quality toys in the 1920`s. I believe the more common clown varaition of this toy is also stamped with the same trademark combination which would lead one to believe the two companies were combined at some point. I have not seen this variation in the Topsy Turvy Car before as you usally see the more common clown variation. The toy includes its original paper hang tag which identifies the toy as The Moko Topsy Turvy Side Skid Motorcar. The box for the toy is the same as the clown varation so my guess is they may have used the same box for the clown and this variation of the toy. The wind-up mechanism is quite complex but delivers a great action as the car falls on its side and then rolls over and repeats the action.
The Moko Topsy Turvy Side Skid Motorcar At regular intervals falls on its side turning right over and proceeding on its journey only to repeat same performance over and over again. No. 105,110 Made in Germany
